The business landscape in Africa is undergoing a transformative shift. In the wake of COVID-19, Africa’s markets have emerged as arenas of both opportunity and complexity, drawing interest from investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators worldwide. This webinar series, "Doing Business in Post-COVID Africa" is designed to equip professionals from European companies with a deep understanding of the unique dynamics, risks, and rewards involved in operating across the continent. Over a series of 3 interactive sessions, participants will gain critical insights into Africa’s rapidly evolving markets, guided by industry experts and seasoned practitioners.

This project is a joint partnership initiative from the Friedensau Institute for Evaluation (FIFE) and JEWIDO Group


 

In Session 1, we delved into the dynamic African business landscape, dispelling common misconceptions and tackling real-world challenges. The session emphasized identifying and mitigating risks, providing best practices for navigating regulatory complexities, political factors, and cultural nuances. Some insights from this discussion are captured in our recent article, "Mitigate, Innovate, Dominate - Lessons from African Market Pioneers".


In the Session 2 we will explore how digital technologies are opening new avenues and creating transformative opportunities across African markets. We will look at how digital tools and platforms enable businesses to reach untapped customer bases, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation in diverse sectors. Through practical examples, attendees will gain insights into strategies for leveraging technology to expand their impact and access Africa’s dynamic, fast-growing digital economy. This lecture will also provides an interactive platform for networking with experts and peers interested in Africa's tech-driven business landscape.
