In the wake of COVID-19, Africa’s markets have emerged as arenas of both opportunity and complexity, drawing interest from investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators worldwide. This webinar series, "Doing Business in Post-COVID Africa" is designed to equip professionals from European companies with a deep understanding of the unique dynamics, risks, and rewards involved in operating across the continent. Over a series of 3 interactive sessions, participants will gain critical insights into Africa’s rapidly evolving markets, guided by industry experts and seasoned practitioners.

This project is a joint partnership initiative from the Friedensau Institute for Evaluation (FIFE) and JEWIDO Consulting Group


 

In the Session 1 we will explore the diverse African business landscape, debunking common misconceptions while addressing real challenges. A major focus is on risk identification and mitigation, offering best practices to handle risks like regulatory complexity, political factors, and cultural nuances. The lecture will showcase practical examples and strategies used by successful companies to navigate these risks effectively. This session provides a rare chance to discuss Africa’s market potential with professionals and peers, building readiness for informed, resilient business ventures.
